August 17:  Meeting Point Norway-Alegria is part of the Global Music Network productions. In August, artists Hasna el Becharia (Algeria), Hannah Wozene Kvam (Norway/Ethiopia) and Malika met in Oslo: Becharia’s gnawa music combined with Kvam’s slam poetry and Malika’s electronic music sat the framework for a new musical experience that took place. Guests: Abdelghani Moussaoui (voice and carcabou), Safaa Al-Saadi (voice, Nai and Derboka), Ketil Kielland-Lund (keyboards) and Øystein Bergsvik (drums) at Cafeteatret, Hollendergaten 8, Oslo, 9pm – cc 100
August 16: Lecture / jam session / club: On the occasion of Hasna el Becharia’s visit to Norway she held a lecture on her career and traditional music from the Sahara, where she grew up, including demonstrations on different traditional instruments such as gumbri and carcabo at Dattera til Hagen, Grønland 10, Oslo, 7pm followed by open jamsession  and club by DJ Brighteyes & DJ Nefretiti. April 18: Guest Lecture at Gateway College: The Montmartre Moments Lecture I (norwegian)
“Individuelle prosjekter og frie valg, men ikke isolert fra omverdens verdivalg”: Kan jeg fritt velge mine prosjekter? Hvilke verktøy trenger vi og hvordan anvender vi disse når vi skal realisere våre mål? Hvor går grensen mellom selvrealisering og hensynet til andre? Vi tar blant annet et dykk i gründervirksomhet og ser samtidig på hvordan vi i den sammenheng kan handle i samsvar med et ansvar og respekt for andre -i lys av Simone de Beauvoirs eksistensialistiske etikk.
